To expand a Blast Furnace, simply add an additional layer to the chimney. The height of the Blast Furnace determines how much ore, flux and charcoal it can hold, and thus the maximum amount of ore which can be smelted at one time. The Blast Furnace is made from eight Wrought Iron Double Sheets and a Crucible. Pig Iron ingots can be worked into Steel. The Blast Furnace is used to smelt Iron Ore into liquid Pig Iron. ![]()
